Assigning a Primary Nutrient

  1. Log in to Ten Kites
  2. From the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen, select the Admin ‘Cog’ icon, then ‘Customisation’, then ‘Nutrients’:

  1. Ensure the Energy (kcal) Nutrient is enabled with the toggle set to ‘Yes’, then click the green ‘Edit Nutrient’ button:

  1. Change the ‘Mark as Primary’ toggle to ‘Yes’ and ‘Save Nutrient’ in the top left corner:

Enabling Primary Nutrients in a Brand Unit and Adding Calorie Statement

  1. From the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen, select the Admin ‘Cog’ icon then ‘Units’:

  1. Select the Brand Unit you wish to show calories on the menus and select the ‘Dietary’ tab 
  2. Scroll down the page to the ‘Nutritional Values’ section and ensure the ‘Energy (kCal)’ toggle is set to ‘Yes’:

  1. Now move to the ‘Output Settings’ tab:

  1. Scroll down the page and ensure the ‘Primary Nutrients’ output value toggle is set to ‘Yes’ for the web output/JSON as applicable:

  1. Now navigate to the ‘Output Customisation’ tab to add the text for the calorie statement:

  1. The ‘Header’ and/or ‘Footer’ text blocks have been activated on your chosen templates to allow for entering your calorie statement. Please add as required and then click on ‘Save Brand’ in the top left corner.
