Customer Background

BM serves around 75,000 daily meals across ~140 UK sites via a mix of all-day restaurants, lively cafés and exquisite fine dining, with food freshly prepared on-site. Its client base includes finance, legal, education, media, health, technology, schools and factories.

BM is one of the first contract caterers to achieve the EcoVadis Bronze Award, which recognises companies for their sustainability performance and achievements, and the first to be named the Sustainable Restaurant Association’s ‘Sustainable Caterer of the Year’ three years in succession.

The Challenge

BM needed a solution to simplify operations, meet compliance demands and empower chefs, all while maintaining exceptional service.

The Solution

BM worked closely with Nutritics to integrate their 19,929 recipes and 573 menus into our recipe management system. The process involved:

  • Analysing and Reformulating Recipes

    Using Nutritics’ recipe management system and suggestions in the software, BM was able to make dishes more nutritious by swapping out ingredients, and support with food claims and compliance with food law.

  • Linking all BM Suppliers

    We helped BM in organising their recipes and menus, enabling seamless sharing across multiple locations. Additionally, we facilitated supplier uploads of allergen and nutritional information to support compliance.
